Weddings are usually an adult occasion. Although it cannot be prevented that some times children will be brought along, in most cases wedding guest would refrain from bringing their children along with them, unless specified in the wedding invitation.

However, since it would prove costly to prepare wedding favors for the children, a couple can just buy a bag of assorted candies and distribute them equally among the children of their guest.

Do not anymore bother yourself with packing them and tying with ribbons. It will only add to your expenses. Giving the candies yourself will prove a fun moment during your wedding.  You can even go outside of the reception area if there are gardens outside and have the children scramble for the candies.
