Unique Centerpiece Table Wedding Favors

Depending on a couple’s love for variety, they can have a most unique and one of a kind wedding favors by giving out a different kind of wedding favor for each table at their wedding reception. 

This of course, is out of the ordinary. I know this will sound very extravagant.  But then there are couples who are moneyed and love to do it this way. I am talking of the rich and the affluent, of course. I have read of a wedding in an European Estate where the tables laid out on the Estate’s well manicured lawn reached to several hundred. 

What earned my attention was the reported different kind of boxes laid out on each table.  It was said that each table has a different set of wedding favors for the occupants. Indeed, what a lavish kind of wedding it was. You can just imagine the number of tables laid out on the huge lawn and the amount of various costly wedding favors on each tables.             

This style of giving a different wedding favor for each table is of course very extravagant, and very impractical at the very least. Anyway, let us see why a very limited number of couples would love to do it this way. One obvious reason here is because they have the money. The second reason is that they would want their guest to know that they can afford to do it.

The third reason maybe is that the couple cannot reach on a particular single idea for a wedding favor that is why they decided to have a variety and to have a different kind of wedding favor for each table. The last reason maybe is that while other couples find frustration in selecting even just a single kind of wedding favor, this couple just loves to spend their time selecting on a variety of wedding favors that they can give out to their wedding guest.     

In weighing the advantage and the disadvantage of this kind of wedding favors distribution, I cannot in all honesty point out even just one single advantage. All that I can see in this kind of a set-up is pure and simple disadvantage. One disadvantage is it will be costly to do it this way.  One way to have a cheaper cost of wedding favors is by ordering them in volume so that a couple can avail of a very good discount.

This situation will effectively eliminate the possibility of a big discount. Discounts on volume orders of wedding favors can reach as high as 20 to 25 per cent. The savings that a couple can get from volume order discounts can be put to better use for payment of other miscellaneous expenses related to their wedding. Anyway, couples choosing this kind of wedding favors distribution scheme do not mind spending a lot of money, I suppose.     

Another disadvantage is that this scheme will be creating bad feelings among the couple’s guest. Considering that each table has a different kind of wedding favors, what will happen if the other table finds out that they were given a cheaper kind of wedding favor compared to the other table?

Surely you cannot help your guest from feeling bad about it. A worst case scenario here will be when all tables for that matter, will compare each other wedding favors and many guest will begun complaining about what they receive compared to other tables.  Of course, you do not want this to happen, right?

These actually are just two of the many disadvantages of having a different wedding favors for each table for a couple’s wedding. Certainly, if you are planning to have your own wedding, I just hope that with these two disadvantages that I have discussed, you will now stop toying with this kind of a wedding favor distribution scheme.
