Wedding favors comes in various styles and make. But have you experienced a wedding whereby their wedding favors come in various flavors? No, I am not trying to be funny nor this is some sort of a pun. What I am trying to say is there are now wedding favors that are edible or can be eaten. These kinds of wedding favors that are edible are now growing in popularity.

In fact, this writer has just came from a wedding where the bride happens to be an owner of a bakery and their wedding favors were a special slice of cake inside a personalized box with a thank you card with their names and date of their wedding on it, plus a note that the couple will soon open a special cake house and an invitation to come and visit them on their opening date!  

Indeed, wedding favors that are edible has now started to become the trend during weddings. Particular wedding favors that will surely be appreciated by children are chocolate bars with personalized thank you wrappers. If you are planning to get married on a tight budget, you can save a lot by giving out chocolate as your wedding favors.

You can buy chocolate bars by the boxes so that you can get it on a cheaper price. When it comes to its wrapper, you can select for yourself the color that will complement the motif of your wedding and have it printed with your name and that of your husband or wife to be. The print should show the date of your wedding, and the church where you will be married. For accent, you can even add a ribbon to the wrapper.

A cheaper idea than chocolate bars will be to use assorted candies as your wedding favors. Depending on the estimated number of your guests and sponsors, you can buy assorted candies by bags. Wrap the candies with the use of cellophane paper and tie it with ribbons on its end. The ribbons you use should have a thank you name on it together with both of your names, the date of your wedding and the church where you will be married. You can also use well designed candy tin cans for this purpose. The drawback will be the high cost of this kind of candy containers thus it will be more practical to use cellophane papers instead.        

Cake slices on small and well designed boxes is another good idea when it comes to wedding favors that can be eaten. The procedure here is for you to have a small box made of carton and have it printed with the needed thank you message, both of your names, the date of your wedding and the name of the church where you will be married.

After you have placed the slice of cake inside the box, tie it with an attractive ribbon. The color of the container should be the motif of your wedding. It is suggested that every slice of cake should be first placed inside a plastic and sealed before placing the cake inside the box. This procedure will effectively prevent the cake from attracting ants and it will also prevent the icing of the cake from spoiling the inside of the box.   

There are still many other wedding favors that can be eaten which would prove affordable and suited to tight budget weddings. Other possible wedding favors are cookies, native delicacies such as dried and processed fruits, cocoa, coffee, and even tea. Indeed, it is just surprising to note the changes that has evolved in its history that even foods are now popularly accepted as wedding
